Maybe it's just me but have you noticed all the Hispanic Heritage (Month) posts have ended? Actually...now I'm seeing a lot more Dia de los Muertos posts from corporations still taking advantage of a culture they do not understand.
Anyways. I recently came across the following tweet:
#MomentosCoke are memorable family moments, take a journey to your roots. Visit http://t.co/2HDo6tyWlV pic.twitter.com/HQRCxZxbaj
— Coca-Cola (@CocaCola) October 1, 2014
After digging up some research, #MomentosCoke is an integrated campaign that falls under their Coke Rewards program. Back in August, Coca-Cola made sure families have plenty of happy moments to remember this Hispanic Heritage Month. The “Momentos Coke” program encourages families to celebrate their heritage, stay connected and make new lasting memories this year with many travel opportunities to visit family members and win other prizes. Simple and makes people become reward members.
Families can enter for a chance to win one of nine Grand Prize travel experiences that includes a $2,000 Delta Air Lines travel voucher and a $1,000 gift card, 27 Second place prizes that includes a $500 Delta Air Lines travel voucher and 270 third place prizes that includes a $40 value Univision Mobile Sim Kit so winners can keep in touch with family members.
To enter the contest participants can upload a picture of family moments to Twitter or Instagram and tag it using the hashtag #MomentosCoke, then become a My Coke Rewards member to claim their entry. And it doesn't end on October 15...it ends on October 31! So hurry and enter.
P.S. Mexican made Coca-Cola is better. Just saying. That is all.
